I use these dot-to-dot cards in the beginning of the year to practice number formation. This idea is from Math Their Way.
As a challenge, I added a writing component. The student creates their picture by connecting the dots, colors and writes a sentence about their picture.
This child was inspired to write more than one sentence. Isn't this great?!
