Finally, I found time to complete my science camp post!
SUPER SCIENCE DAY 4
Marvelous Magnets & Exciting Electricity
We began the day with a few group experiments.
Experiment 1: Making a Magnet
I read this story and we tried the experiment in the book.

| The book says to rub a nail across the magnet 50 times. We tried and it didn't work so we tried it again. This time we rubbed the magnet 100 times. |

| The nail became magnetized after being rubbed across the magnet 100 times. The nail picked up 3 pins! That's not much. |
Experiment 2: Making an Electromagnet
We made a magnet using electricity!

Experiment 3: Lights Up!
We discovered a battery has a negative and positive side.
Look what happens when the circuit is completed.
Experiment 4: Roll, Roll, Roll Your Can
Can you move a can with a balloon?

We discovered hot water rises!
